ACADEMIC AWARD

The Academic Award is being introduced to also reward schools, students and teachers individually in various categories. Recognizing their academic achievement is an effective way to inspire hard work and honor to those who have put forth exhaustive effort in their studies since it is a fact that music enhances academic performance in students.

These awards celebrate achievements during a certain academic year, and are open to all education institutions.  Our competition is simple to enter and open to anyone in the education field. We accept submissions based on academic performance in school and external examination. Initiatives or endeavors that commenced prior to the year of entry, provided that core achievements have taken place during this main period of focus. We will also accept any evidence that has come from schools that a nominee deserves to be honored with our academic awards.

Entry Guidelines

This is a Merit Award majorly to celebrate academic achievement for schools, students and teachers. We would welcome nomination for all the categories of award. The information below will help you to prepare your entry. 

Entry is Free
These awards celebrate achievements during a certain academic year, and are open to all education institutions
Schools are to nominate a maximum of two students and two teachers for each of the award categories.
All entries must be submitted to the project office or via email. The submission text should be no more than 300 words in length, and must specifically address the key criteria set out for the relevant category.
In addition to the 300-word submission you may include any additional supporting materials;
You may enter as many categories as you wish, but you must complete a separate submission for each one.

CATEGORIES OF AWARD

School Category – This award category is strictly for schools. The purpose of this award is to recognize academic success in schools.

Nursery school of the year
Primary school of the year
Junior Secondary school of the year
Senior secondary school of the year  
School of the year

Student Category – The purpose of this award is to recognize students that show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment or intellectual development in their academic subjects, It is meant to encourage and reward students who work hard and give their best effort in school, often in the face of special obstacles to their learning.

Geography Student of the year

Teachers Category – This award seeks to reward the academic whose imagination and passion have transformed a course and inspired students nominated from any one institution
